Google does not place a blog post in search results with a single click on Publish. The post must first be discovered and crawled, analyzed for indexing, and then considered for relevant search queries.
Browsing: Indexing
A sitemap helps Google discover URLs but does not guarantee that posts will be indexed. This guide shows how to check a Blogger sitemap and a specific URL in Search Console.
Not finding a Blogspot post on Google does not prove it has an error. Check the URL while signed out, reader access, Crawl and Indexing status in URL Inspection, and the canonical before reviewing content or requesting indexing.
A URL can be in your sitemap and still not appear on Bing. Check the version Bing has recorded, test the live URL, and review robots.txt, noindex, canonical tags, redirects, 404s, and server errors.
Google Search Console does not crawl websites directly. Googlebot accesses and processes URLs, while Search Console helps you verify your site, submit a sitemap, inspect URLs, and request indexing for important pages.
